@jean22s thats because your doing them wrong when you do crunches you don’t pull your head to your abs (using momentum) you just keep your hands behind your head don’t use your hands to pull your head.

@jean22s Dont focus on lifting your head and pulling your neck, focus more on lifting with your core. Try to keep your head in the same line with your body. Dont just lift with your abs, crunch them extra hard while you lift. The more you feel it in your abs the more its working for you. Also a good thing is to keep your abs flexed the whole time you work out(even when you pause), so after some time youll have them flexed 24/7 like Cindy.
