Well basically there are 3,500 calories in a pound of fat. So if you can burn 500 calories a day, then you will burn off around a pound a week. A good way to do this is by eating a lot of foods that are lower in calories. Soup, cereal, grilled chicken, fish, and fruit. All these things are low in calories and they’re good for you. If you can cut your calories between 1,500-2,000 per day (preferrably 1,500) and also run a few miles, that fat should just melt right off of you.
