I’ve been losing my belly fat, but there’s a problem do you know what this is?
My belly fat is going away since I’ve been eating smaller portions along with the strength training workout, ab workouts and cardio. I’ve been losing weight, but I haven’t lost my muscle. However, I’ve been having a posture problem with my back and it feels like my back is slumping over and I have to fight to keep my posture straight. Could the belly fat have been my posture to hold me up and now it’s gone. It’s like my body has to forcefully hold itself up and I feel the strain on my back. I guess my back has gotten weaker as my belly fat has gone away? True or Not? If so, how could this be because I do ab workouts all the time?
The problem most likely lies IN your ab workouts. It doesn’t make sense to lose weight off the front of your body and THAT cause you to slump over does it? It should work the other way around. Excess weight CAUSES back problems. However, if you never do back exercises that would cause the pain. Excess training of your abs causes your abs to pull on your back muscles. The same people who train biceps too much and don’t train triceps that frequently often have arms that pull inward as opposed to hanging in a normal manner. Also, if you’re fighting to hold your posture up, you should continue fighting to keep it up because that means your back muscles aren’t strong enough. Go to google and type in lower back exercises, you need to build the strength in your back up.
